Privacy and data
Cookie Policy
This policy lists the cookies and similar technologies used by the current Form Audioworks store, why they are used, how long they last and how to control optional choices.
Effective and last updated: 5 August 2026
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser and sent back to a website. We also use local storage, which stays in your browser without being sent with every request, and browser scripts that can access or send information. This policy calls them "cookies and similar technologies" where the same privacy rules apply.
2. Who operates this site
Form Audioworks LTD operates this store. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14785152. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ and our ICO registration number is ZB714038. Contact us through Support.
3. How consent works
Essential technologies are active because the store cannot securely provide the relevant feature without them. Support chat, Analytics and Marketing are separate optional choices. No optional category is required to browse, buy, receive a download or choose promotional email.
Support chat controls whether Brevo Conversations can be ready in the background and receive the page you are viewing. Analytics controls first-party analytics and Google Analytics 4. Marketing controls the Meta Pixel and eligible server-side Meta Purchase measurement. Promotional email is a separate unchecked choice and is not controlled by this panel.
4. Essential technologies
These items support security, authentication, checkout, currency, saved cart state and evidence of your privacy choice.
| Name or pattern | Technology and purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
form-audioworks-c15t | First-party cookie and local-storage copy of your category choices. | Up to 365 days, unless replaced or cleared sooner. |
form-audioworks-c15t-consent:v1 | Local-storage mirror used to apply the saved choice immediately in the application. | Until the choice is replaced or browser storage is cleared. |
form-audioworks-brevo-background-consent:v1 | First-party local-storage marker recording that the separate Support chat choice is enabled. It prevents the former combined Analytics and Marketing choice from being reused for this purpose and is removed when Support chat is switched off. | Until Support chat is switched off or browser storage is cleared. |
form-audioworks-anonymous-id:v1 and form_analytics_identity | Random local identifier and protected first-party proof used to save consent evidence and, only after Analytics is granted, link first-party analytics from that browser. They are not used as browser fingerprints. | Local value until cleared; proof cookie up to one year. |
form_analytics_identity_reset | Short-lived signal that rotates the protected browser proof after sign-out. | Up to 10 minutes. |
sb-…-auth-token, including chunked variants | Supabase authentication session cookies for sign-in and account access. | For the session and refresh period set by the authentication service; the exact browser expiry may vary. |
form_auth_link_… | Encrypted state used to complete a requested confirmation, sign-in or password-recovery link safely. | Up to 10 minutes. |
form_legacy_activation_proof | Encrypted, short-lived proof used only during eligible imported-customer password activation. | Up to 15 minutes. |
faw_currency | First-party cookie remembering the store currency you selected. | Up to one year. |
form_site_access | Signed first-party cookie used only while a private-beta access gate is enabled. | Up to 14 days. |
form-platform-cart:v1 and form-platform-bundle-…:v1 | Local storage for cart contents and bundle selections. | Until the cart or selection is cleared, or browser storage is cleared. |
Blocking these items through browser controls may stop sign-in, checkout, downloads, currency, cart state or saved privacy choices from working.
5. Analytics
No Analytics script, configuration, cookie or event is allowed before Analytics consent. Form Audioworks does not use Google's cookieless denied-mode pings.
| Name or provider | Purpose and data | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Form Audioworks first-party analytics | Consented page views, product views, cart additions, checkout starts and purchases, using the random browser/session identifier and bounded page, product, order, referral and campaign fields. | Server events and sessions: up to 180 days. Short-lived presence rows: 24 hours. |
_ga | Google Analytics first-party cookie used to distinguish a browser after consent. | Google's default is two years, but the property setting or browser controls can shorten it. |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics first-party cookie used to persist session state after consent. | Google's default is two years, but the property setting or browser controls can shorten it. |
Google gtag.js | Script loaded directly from Google after consent to send page_view, view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout and purchase. Google also receives ordinary request and browser/device information and can derive an approximate location from the IP address. | Loaded for the page; Google's cookies have the durations above. |
Google Signals, advertising personalisation, Google Ads features, Enhanced Conversions, User-ID and user-provided data are disabled in this integration. See Google's Analytics cookie information.
6. Marketing
The Meta Pixel is loaded directly only after Marketing consent. It can send PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase to measure advertising results, attribute purchases and help Meta optimise advertising. Automatic configuration and advanced matching are disabled.
| Name or provider | Purpose and data | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta browser identifier that the Pixel may set after Marketing consent. | Up to 90 days under Meta's published cookie information. |
_fbc | Meta click identifier that may be present after Marketing consent and an attributable Meta visit. Form Audioworks does not invent it. | Up to 90 days under Meta's published cookie information. |
Meta fbevents.js | Script loaded directly from Meta after consent to send the allowed browser events above. | Loaded for the page; Meta's cookies have the durations above. |
See Meta's Cookie Policy. Google Tag Manager is not loaded by this application.
7. Server-side marketing measurement
Meta's Conversions API Purchase is a server-to-server message, not a cookie. It uses the Marketing choice saved when checkout starts. An eligible completed order may send products, quantities, value, currency, a SHA-256 hash of the checkout email, trusted User-Agent, validated IP address and available _fbp or _fbc. The hash is pseudonymous, not anonymous.
The browser and server Purchase share an event ID so Meta can avoid double counting. Delivery can succeed or retry without a thank-you page visit. Encrypted checkout matching context expires within 21 days and is normally deleted when the delivery is prepared. The encrypted delivery payload is removed on success or terminal failure and cannot remain eligible beyond seven days from the original completion. Non-sensitive delivery evidence may remain for diagnosis.
If Marketing was denied when checkout started, no Meta Purchase is created and a later grant does not replay it. A later withdrawal stops affected future browser events; it does not rewrite the order-time record or recall data already sent. No server-side refund or upper-funnel event is sent.
8. Optional support chat
When you accept all under the current notice, or enable Support chat under Manage preferences, Brevo Conversations loads in the background so support is ready and receives the current page as you move around the site. The previous combined Analytics and Marketing choice is not reused for this purpose. If Support chat is off, the Form Audioworks launcher does not load Brevo, create Brevo browser globals, contact Brevo or let Brevo use browser storage. In that case, Brevo loads only if you select Open support chatafter reading the disclosure. That action also enables the Support chat preference for later visits; it does not change Analytics, Marketing or promotional email.
| Name or provider | Purpose and data | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Brevo Conversations cookies and local storage | Provider-controlled chat identifiers and service state used to connect you to support, keep the conversation available and restore it when you return. When Support chat is enabled, including through Open support chat, Brevo receives the current page as you navigate, including while the chat window is closed. Loading Brevo in this state makes you available to support but does not report the chat window as opened; that happens only when you select Support. Brevo can also receive the referrer plus ordinary browser, device and network information. Form Audioworks does not install the separate Brevo behavioural tracker, send your account details to Brevo, call Brevo's identity API, or enable its Google Analytics tracking. | Some items may last only for the browser session; chat identifiers and state may remain until their provider-set expiry or until you clear them. Brevo controls the exact names and durations and may change them. |
Enabling Support chat permits the background service; the launcher disclosure provides another way to enable it when that choice is off. Analytics, Marketing and promotional email remain separate. Closing the chat does not delete cookies, browser storage or a conversation already held by Brevo. You can use the normal support formwithout explicitly loading chat. See Brevo's Privacy Policy for information about its processing.
9. Payment and other third-party pages
When you continue to Stripe's hosted checkout, Stripe may use its own cookies and similar technologies for payment, fraud prevention and security under Stripe's Privacy Center. Those technologies operate on Stripe's service, not as Form Audioworks first-party cookies. External social links also take you to services with their own policies; merely displaying the footer link does not load their tracking on this site.
10. Changing your choices
Select Cookie settings in the footer, change Support chat, Analytics and Marketing separately, and save. Rejecting or withdrawing an optional category is as available as granting it. A grant starts only after the choice is saved successfully; a withdrawal stops affected future activity locally straight away.
Scripts already downloaded cannot be physically removed from an open page, but the application stops sending affected future events after withdrawal. Refreshing the page can give you a clean page load. The preference change does not erase order, consent or provider records kept for a separate purpose. See the Privacy Policy for rights and retention.
11. Browser controls and limitations
Your browser can show, block or delete cookies and local storage. Its private-browsing mode may remove them sooner. Blocking all cookies can prevent account, checkout, downloads and saved choices from working. Browser controls do not delete records already held by Form Audioworks, Google, Meta, Stripe or another provider; use the privacy-request and complaints routes for those questions.
12. Updates
We update the date at the top when this policy changes. A new optional purpose, provider or material use that needs consent will require a new choice; an old choice will not be stretched to cover it. We review provider-controlled cookie changes and update this policy when needed.
13. Contact and complaints
For questions or a privacy complaint, use Support and choose Privacy/data-protection complaint. We will acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, investigate it, keep you informed where appropriate and explain the outcome without undue delay. Thirty days is the acknowledgement period, not a promised resolution deadline.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through its complaints service.
