Orders and refunds
Refund Policy
How cancellations, refunds and statutory remedies work for downloadable Form Audioworks products.
Effective and last updated: 5 August 2026
1. Digital products
Form Audioworks products are supplied as downloadable digital content. This includes sample packs, audio files, software and any other digital files expressly included with a product.
Digital files cannot be physically returned, and we cannot verify that every downloaded or copied file has been deleted. For that reason, we do not normally provide refunds merely because a customer changes their mind, no longer wants a product or does not like its creative content after supply has begun.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
2. Immediate supply and cancellation rights
We normally provide access to purchased digital content immediately after an order is completed.
Before checkout, you are asked to confirm that you have read and agree to our Licensing & Terms and this Refund Policy.
If supply has not begun and you wish to cancel, contact us through our Support page as soon as possible. Because access is normally provided immediately after order completion, change-of-mind cancellation will usually no longer be available after a completed order.
3. Faulty, inaccessible or misdescribed content
Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
Contact us if:
- a download cannot be completed;
- the supplied archive is corrupt;
- files stated as included are missing;
- the files materially differ from the product description;
- the supplied format or technical specification differs from that advertised; or
- the content is otherwise faulty or does not conform to the purchase contract.
We will normally first try to resolve the problem by restoring access, providing a replacement download, supplying missing files or correcting the affected content.
Where the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, an appropriate price reduction or refund may be available in accordance with applicable consumer law.
4. Software and hardware compatibility
Customers are responsible for checking that their chosen software, digital audio workstation, sampler, operating system or hardware supports the formats and technical specifications stated on the relevant product page.
We do not normally provide refunds where the supplied content matches the advertised specifications but the customer's chosen software or hardware does not support those specifications.
This does not apply where compatibility information supplied by Form Audioworks was inaccurate or where we specifically confirmed before purchase that the product would be suitable for a particular stated requirement.
5. Duplicate purchases
Contact us if you accidentally purchase the same product more than once.
Once the duplicate purchase has been verified, we will normally refund the duplicate charge. This does not include separate purchases intentionally made for another person or account.
6. Bundles and multi-product orders
Where a problem affects only one product or part of an order, any repair, replacement, price reduction or refund may be limited to the affected content where appropriate.
A problem with one item does not automatically require a refund of unaffected products in the same order or bundle.
7. Refunds, access and licences
Where a full refund is issued for a product, access to that product may be revoked and the licence granted with the purchase will end.
You must stop using the refunded content and delete copies in your possession or control. We will not require unverifiable proof of deletion as a condition of considering a legitimate statutory complaint.
Partial refunds do not automatically remove access unless we tell you otherwise as part of the agreed resolution.
8. Requesting help or a refund
Use our Support page and include:
- the email address associated with the order;
- the order number, where available;
- the affected product;
- a clear description of the problem; and
- any useful non-sensitive error information.
Do not send passwords, sign-in links, full card details or other sensitive authentication or payment information.
We may ask for reasonable information needed to reproduce or understand a technical problem.
9. Approved refunds
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed with you.
We will initiate an approved refund without undue delay. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the funds.
10. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
